PS3 Jailbreak updated:  Latest Version: 4.21 / PSN Status: YES.  Download it here

Duplex takes on True Blue and wins!

A huge step forward today in the fight against companies trying to make money out of piracy.  Whatever your views on 'running backups' may be almost everyone is in agreement that which obtaining the odd free backup is still maybe morally a bit gray for them paying for backups is just out and out wrong.  If you are going to pay any money for a game then that money should be going to the actual game developers themselves not some dodgy Chinese company.  Thankfully team Duplex felt the same way and their talented crackers have been working on the True Blue dongle.  And it seems they have done what many other have failed to do in the past and break the drm protection hidden in the eboot releases from True Blue.  Good news indeed as now anyone can use these eboots for their own games on any version of CFW.

Expect more releases soon from Duplex.

This video demonstrates perfectly the best benefit of a Jailbroken PS3.  The ability to switch between games quickly without needing to change disks.  Its a simple thing but once you have got used to this way there simply is no way to go back to the old way!  It just feels so old.  Just sooo last decade.  We want our games there on the console ready to go at the touch of a button.  Yes this is now possible with games you have downloaded from the store but what about all those disks around the place?  Wouldnt it be much nicer to have them all pre installed and ready to go.  Thats what multiman and a PS3 Jailbreak give you.  Add to that a big usb disk drive or four and you can have many of you titles there ready.  Admittedly this can have the draw back of switching between games too often and not getting anywhere on them all but we can all be a little guilty of the ever shortening attention span!  Sadly for most users though this way also opens the door for people to download games from their favorite torrent site to 'compliment' their own collection of bought games.  So maybe it is the pirates that are stopping us from legitimate backups all along.
